Growing up in the US, I was immersed in the world of sports. I played them all—from baseball to basketball, football, wrestling, and tennis. But when my parents gave me my first computer, a Commodore 64, I found myself drawn to the dynamic and ever-evolving tech landscape.

Recruitment is the cornerstone of any thriving company, and believe me, getting it right is like striking gold. At my first venture-backed startup, TinyPulse, we focused on creating products to help businesses hire, retain, and grow talent.

It all starts with getting the right people in the right seats. As highlighted in the book “How Google Works,” it was so important that Larry Page and Sergey Brin remained meticulously involved through the first 10,000 employees.

But recruitment is hard, and it takes time.

Founding the Vietnam chapter and taking on various regional roles have profoundly impacted both my personal and professional life. The connections and learning opportunities provided by EO have been invaluable, helping me refine my approach to business and life.
